Very eager, huh? He is about to die a horrible death! Now there is some resolve - real resolve. And to make sure we don't mistakenly assume Jesus had no idea what was about to take place, He declares that a betrayer is among them. Jesus knew full well the events that were about to unfold. And yet, He was eager to get to it...
Tomorrow's NT reading will, however, throw a kink in the deal... Jesus will ask God to take away the impending suffering...
Hmmm...
Father, I want resolve - real resolve. Help me to review my life and arrive at this real resolve in the circumstances and events before me...
