Then the Lord turned to him and said, “Go with the strength you have, and rescue Israel from the Midianites. I am sending you!” [Judges 6.14]
Maybe we should not wait around for a miracle or the feeling of great strength before we do something. If God is leading, apparently that is enough... strength will come as it is necessary.
The question is: do we BELIEVE God has sent us, told us, or directed us?
This story of Gideon is quite interesting because even after proceeding forward after God told him to "go with the strength he had" Gideon still put the fleece out. His faith sounds a whole lot like mine! And yet, God used Gideon mightily.
Father, I want to hear and obey. And then, I want to keep hearing and obeying because it seems to me that faith is never "easy".
