Immigration

The Lord protects the foreigners among us. He cares for the orphans and widows, but he frustrates the plans of the wicked. [Psalm 146.9]

At this point in history, the United States of America is experiencing a great divide over the subject of Immigration.

The perceived problem is found in determining whether or not to allow people to immigrate to this country. The real problem however is not that people immigrate into the USA, but that people conquer this country. There is only a subtle difference between immigration and conquest, and that difference is in outcome.

Generally speaking, immigrants migrate to another country because that country's political, social, spiritual, and/or financial environment is better than their own. Countries typically allow immigration as an act of benevolence to allow those immigrants to embrace and benefit from their proven political, social, spiritual, and/or financial environment.

In contrast, conquerors immigrate to another country because they intend to take their own political, social, spiritual, and/or financial environment to that country with no intention whatsoever of adopting that new country's ways. They don't come to receive the covering of the preferred nation's ways and systems, but to change them.

In light of the USA's liberal immigration policies, I question whether this country is the land of opportunity or the land of gullibility.

May God save the USA and what is was founded upon!

Father, let there be a revival of godliness in the USA. And, along with that revival, let there be a preservation of the ways and systems that made this nation successful and great.
