Reference To Jesus - Reference To Us

As my vision continued that night, I saw someone like a son of man coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient One and was led into his presence. He was given authority, honor, and sovereignty over all the nations of the world, so that people of every race and nation and language would obey him. His rule is eternal—it will never end. His kingdom will never be destroyed. [Daniel 7.13-14]

The reference to Jesus Christ here is prophetic and undeniable.

However, if we can and will see it, this passage, because it does not specify "Son of God," but uses the broader term, "son of man," also points to all who follow Jesus. This is clearly indicated in the verse below from that same context:

But in the end, the holy people of the Most High will be given the kingdom, and they will rule forever and ever.” [Daniel 7.18]

The implications of this entire passage are mind-blowing. How Cool Is That? addresses this also.

I am convinced that, the more we know ALL the Bible, the less confusing Daniel's visions will be to us.

Father, Your Word is amazing and I love it more every day. Even though I still struggle to understand, I still understand enough to say, like Peter to Jesus, "“Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words that give eternal life." Thank You!
