Joy?

Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you. [Psalm 51.12]

Psalm 51 is David's response to his sin and punishment for adultery and murder.

Verse 12 implies something that seems often overlooked. To be restored to the joy of one's salvation, one must first have joy in their salvation.
