Look At What's Happening!

This is what the LORD of Heaven’s Armies says: Look at what’s happening to you! [Haggai 1.7]

This verse it telling God's people to look at their situation so that they might respond appropriately.

What was their situation? Curses.

How do our circumstances differ today? They don't.

If we are experiencing curses, there is only one proper response: repent and return to God and His ways!

Religion has concocted all kinds of reasons and excuses for not responding to curses correctly, but religion is wrong. Curses speak a very clear message: Repentance is necessary!

The problem with a knowledgeable and highly intelligent society is that we have a scientific and logical explanation for every curse. Consequently, solutions are also scientific and logical. What's missing? Repentance!

So, will we believe the Bible or will we believe our knowledge and logic?

Father, help us to rightly evaluate our circumstances and respond according to Your Word and not our knowledge!
