“LORD, help!” they cried in their trouble, and he rescued them from their distress. [Psalm 107.6 (13,19,28)]
Psalm 107 describes the human condition well. Through various circumstances including disobedience man finds himself in trouble. The Psalm is repetitive (verses 6, 13, 19 & 28) in saying the suffers cried out to God and were rescued.
The lesson in this for us is obvious: cry out to God in all our troubles and He will rescue us!
Father, thank You for the simple lessons found throughout Your Word. And, oh yeah, "LORD help!"
