The hopes of the godly result in happiness, but the expectations of the wicked come to nothing. [Proverbs 10.28]
How is it that "Bible-believing" Christians can quote scriptures and claim belief in the Bible and still ignore the glaring declarations of their personal circumstances that indicate they are in fact wicked and not godly?
All I can figure is this:
“The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? [Jeremiah 17.9]
Father, I am tired of trying to figure out how my cursed situations are really blessings from You. Forgive me for all the self-junk and deception manifested in my life that says I am wicked instead of godly.
