My heart is confident in you, O God; my heart is confident. No wonder I can sing your praises! [Psalm 57.7]
This verse in the Psalms tells a story with a clear lesson.
Praises are the natural response of a heart that is confident in God.
If we are not full of praise, then we are not fully confident in our God!
Father, may I be found growing in confidence in You. May the fruit of that confidence be continual praises from my lips!
