The Ark of God remained there in Obed-edom’s house for three months, and the LORD blessed the household of Obed-edom and everything he owned. [1 Chronicles 13.14]
The presence of God (as represented by the Ark of God), brought blessing to Obed-edom's house.
The presence of God brings blessing upon the house of anyone in which He dwells.
The very presence of God is manifest in His Holy Spirit.
So, why do we not see more of His blessings?
Now, that's not a real bright question, is it? Simple deduction would conclude that if the blessings are not present, then God, by the Holy Spirit, is not present. But this simple deduction does not pander to our proud religious spirit, does it?
Since they say there are no "dumb" questions, but only dumb answers, then each of us might do well to review our own answer to the question: "why do we not see more of God's blessings?" We just need to be sure our answer is not a "dumb" one - we need to be sure our answer lines up with God's Word instead of contradicting it!
Enough of religion's dumb answers!
Father, help me to base all my answers to life's problems on Your Word!
