Paralyzed With Fear (for good reason)

When all the Amorite kings west of the Jordan and all the Canaanite kings who lived along the Mediterranean coast heard how the LORD had dried up the Jordan River so the people of Israel could cross, they lost heart and were paralyzed with fear because of them. [Joshua 5.1]

What has the LORD done in my life that has the enemy paralyzed with fear?

He has saved me. He has given me new life in Christ Jesus.

He has given me faith and the command to use it generously.

He has given me prayer to relate openly with Him and invited me to come to Him in boldness because of Christ.

He has given me the calling to do His will and the power with which to do it.

He has given me multiple and loving promises for every concern in my life and the lives of those around me.

He has given me Jesus and the "least of these" so I might know Him and be known by Him.

He has given me the world as my workspace and all people as my work. He has given me the ministry of reconciliation as His ambassador.

He has given me His protective armor and the Word with which to launch my offensive against the lies and deception of the enemy - all while simply "standing."

He has given me His love so I know how to reach people.

HE HAS GIVEN ME MY ENEMIES SO HIS NAME MIGHT BE GLORIFIED IN THE EARTH TODAY!

Father, THANK YOU! I will be mindful of all You have provided today and take by force that which the enemy holds captive!

This a blog of one of my most dear friends and one of the most Godly men I have had the pleasure to know. He has been so inspirational in my recovery from the world. I would have been continually lost if it not been for his obedience and his faith driving him to reach others. This man has been this to me and I pray to live up to the direction he speaks and teaches and aspires too, JESUS. Our ultimate goal, I love you brother. This message or blog really hit me today and I wanted to share with the world that this is what we have and we need to daily live in this recognition.
