Indeed, he loves his people; all his holy ones are in his hands. They follow in his steps and accept his teaching. [Deuteronomy 33.3]
Moses spoke these words of blessing over Israel before his death.
The cool thing about this blessing is that it it timeless when considering that Israel represents the Church!
There are four major facts present in this verse:
- God loves His people.
- God's people are in His hands.
- God's people follow Him.
- God's people learn from Him.
If we can see it here, these four facts serve to identify God's people.
It is worth our attention to pay particular attention to the last two facts as they have something to do with our obedience to Him: to follow Him and to learn from Him.
The first two facts are absolute and can be trusted.
Father, may we be found trusting You and learning from You. And, may we never forget Your love and care for us!
