Leviticus 7-8
You search the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures point to me! [John 5.39]
Today was one of those days that I felt distracted as I read the Word of God in Leviticus 7-8. However, as I sit here pondering what God has said to me, I am reminded that Jesus is the focal point even of these passages about offerings.
I truly believe each intricate detail of these offerings has significance in pointing us the Jesus Christ even though I admit my ignorance regarding the matter. Sometimes it's like a Where's Waldo puzzle!
My goal is to ponder these passages further - to meditate on them with full expectation that Christ will be revealed in every detail.
Father, help me - help us - to find Jesus in all the "Old Testament" so that the New Testament makes sense to us!
