When You Have Nothing Good To Say...

At last Job spoke, and he cursed the day of his birth. [Job 3.1]

Well that's just a fine way to start! NOT!

For all that led up to this point, we have record that Job did not sin in all he said.

But this???

To curse the day of his birth is to curse God Who gave him life. I will say that at this point, Job began to sin in what he said! Job blamed God, Who gave him life.

Job would have likely been better off to have kept quiet.

Perhaps the old cliché is Biblically based: "When you have nothing good to say, say nothing at all."

Father, to some degree, I can relate to Job. Specifically, I can relate to running my mouth blaming You when I should have just kept quiet.
