God's Will Is Holiness

For God’s will was for us to be made holy by the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ, once for all time. [Hebrews 10.10]

For anyone who is uncertain what God's will in their particular situation, Hebrews 10.10 exists.

God's will is for us to be made holy. He accomplished that through the life, death, and resurrection of Christ.

Regardless what we may think holiness looks like based on our experiences or understanding, holiness is what God is. God is not sick. God is not poor or destitute. God is not worried. God is not fearful. Why? Because God is HOLY!

And, God's will is for us to be made holy by the sacrifice of the body of Jesus!!

So, when we face a situation that questions or challenges the will of God, we can boldly declare God's will - and that is holiness. And, we may be confident that sickness cannot exist in the presence of holiness. Poverty and despair cannot exist in the presence of holiness. Fear and worry cannot exist in the presence of holiness.

Jesus had made us who believe holy!

When we pray, "May Your will be done as it is in heaven..." we are praying for holiness to prevail. Because God, Who is Holy, dwells in heaven, sickness, poverty, worry and fear DO NOT EXIST THERE!

The Church must acknowledge God's holiness! The Church must acknowledge the powerlessness of sickness, poverty, fear and worry over God's holiness!

Father help us to hold to Your holiness and see that Jesus is the Way to do so! Jesus!
