Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory. [Romans 5.1-2]
Because of what Jesus has done...
Upon this work, all humanity may know God.
To be made right in God's sight is no small thing. In fact, there is nothing on earth that is more important. And, in that place of forgiveness, Christ followers find undeserved privilege.
What is that undeserved privilege? It is the full authority to operate in kingdom power as Jesus Christ demonstrated. It is to walk on water. It is to raise the dead. It is to heal the sick. It is to give forgiveness.
To fully comprehend the fullness of "undeserved privilege" will take most people their entire life. It is an endeavor worth pursuing!
Father, may we be found growing in the understanding of our undeserved privilege and act accordingly.
