God Saves

Let the whole earth sing to the LORD! Each day proclaim the good news that he saves. [1 Chronicles 16.23]

You know what's cool about this? It was said long before Jesus came to earth! That's because God was the God of Salvation even before He sent Jesus.

God never changes. That means He has never changed also. Just because Jesus appeared at a certain time in history does not mean that the plan was not always the same. God planned to redeem the world through the blood of Jesus ALWAYS. Why? Because God is the God of Salvation!

As we grow in our knowledge of God, it is good to store these characteristics of God in our hearts and minds. Our victory over the world is found in living out God's Truth in militaristic opposition to human reasoning and its false arguments. Thus we are told to "take the whole armor of God" and are told we have weapons of warfare. In fact, our understanding of Salvation has to do with our "helmet."

God saves!

Father, may my life and testimony be found in these words, "God saves!"
