Patient Endurance

So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. [Hebrews 10.35-36]

Wow, what a timely message for us today.

Patient endurance is a good thing. We all need it.

However we must understand that patient endurance serves a purpose in our lives so we might continue to do God's will. 

What is God's will? That all are saved and understand the truth (1 Timothy 2.4).

In the midst of global pandemic and national political unrest and uncertainty, it is not time for knee-jerk reactions. It is time for patient endurance in the continuation of God's will.

God's promises are attached to our patient endurance to do His will.

Father, forgive me for allowing any anxiety or fear to motivate me to rash words or actions in this unprecedented time. Help me to stay true to Your will on earth as You are true to it in heaven!
