God Loves People

Here is the list of the Jewish exiles of the provinces who returned from their captivity. King Nebuchadnezzar had deported them to Babylon, but now they returned to Jerusalem and the other towns in Judah where they originally lived. [Ezra 2.1]

People. The Bible is full of the names of people. Why? Because...

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. [John 3.16]

It is only right that the Bible talks about so many people. God loves people!

We would do well to meditate on this fact. Indeed if we fail to comprehend fully just how much God loves the world, then we are likely to never walk in dynamic relationship with Him.

God loves people. If we are to be anything like God, we too will love people. As a matter of fact, Jesus said:

Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” [John 13.35]

Father, thank You for making clear that You love people.
