Say to them, ‘This is the nation whose people will not obey the LORD their God and who refuse to be taught. Truth has vanished from among them; it is no longer heard on their lips. [Jeremiah 7.28]
Are these words an indictment about my nation?
It sure seems so.
When Truth has vanished from among a people, there is no hope for anything good to follow.
And how does one know Truth has vanished from among his people? It is no longer heard on their lips.
Father help us. We have abandoned You and Your Truth. Much is being said these days, but it is not Your Word. Forgive us!
