What A Prayer To Pray

Wake up, wake up, O LORD! Clothe yourself with strength! Flex your mighty right arm! Rouse yourself as in the days of old when you slew Egypt, the dragon of the Nile. Are you not the same today, the one who dried up the sea, making a path of escape through the depths so that your people could cross over? [Isaiah 51.9-10]

Oh, what a prayer to pray to God!

God's people need a Red Sea experience today!

The world needs to see a Red Sea experience today!

The problem is, not only does the world not believe in the Red-Sea-parting God, but His own people do not believe He will move once again in nature-defying power.

It is true. Even the Church today has an explanation for everything natural. And, the Church today has an explanation for everything that hurts or is a curse. In fact, both "miracle-faith" people and "miracle-faith-passed-away" people alike are powerless in the earth at this time. Consequently, the world looks on from the outside with justifiable disdain.

Where is God Who parted the Red Sea?

May I just answer my own question?

The God Who parted the Red Sea cannot look at His Church today because His Church is just as sinful as the world. And, because He cannot look at His Church, there is no power in the Church. His Church has the "form" of godliness but no power.

Whether the Church is guilty of gross sin, or the Church is guilty of disobedience to faith, the necessary remedy is the same - the Church needs to repent.

Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. [2 Chronicles 7.14]

The solution for the world's problems is not found among the world's people. The solution for the world's problems is found among God's people!

Nothing "wakes up" God like repentant people!
