When David saw the angel, he said to the LORD, “I am the one who has sinned and done wrong! But these people are as innocent as sheep—what have they done? Let your anger fall against me and my family.” [2 Samuel 24.17]
Have you ever felt like your sin hurt people around you? I have. It is not a good feeling.
There is only one solution: repentance.
Father, as I consider the pain and suffering I have caused to others - family, friends, associates - please forgive me! If there must be suffering for my sin, let it be only me! And I plead the blood of Jesus in my place!
