The Rainbow

Then God said, “I am giving you a sign of my covenant with you and with all living creatures, for all generations to come. I have placed my rainbow in the clouds. It is the sign of my covenant with you and with all the earth. When I send clouds over the earth, the rainbow will appear in the clouds, and I will remember my covenant with you and with all living creatures. Never again will the floodwaters destroy all life. When I see the rainbow in the clouds, I will remember the eternal covenant between God and every living creature on earth.” Then God said to Noah, “Yes, this rainbow is the sign of the covenant I am confirming with all the creatures on earth.” [Genesis 9.12-17]

The rainbow is a magnificent phenomenon that serves as a reminder of God's promise to never again destroy all the earth with water.

Fast forward to year 2020. The rainbow has been adopted and become a universal symbol of "diversity." 

Diversity idealism today is sexual perversion according to the Bible. The diversity message recognizes and encourages acute deviation from God's documented plan for mankind on the earth, namely that a man and a woman enter a covenant of marriage, engage in functional sexual activity, and reproduce.

The irony of the diversity movement adopting the rainbow as their banner is uncanny!

We should take careful consideration that the first sin recorded after the flood (chronicled right after the rainbow narrative above) points heavily at homosexuality - Ham saw Noah's nakedness. And, although the story shares no details beyond Ham "seeing" Noah naked, it does clearly record that Japheth and Shem refused to "see" their father in his nakedness. As soon as Noah was conscious again, the descendants of Canaan, Ham's son, were cursed.

It should be no surprise that the areas of Sodom and Gomorrah were settlements of Ham's descendants. And, here is where the irony is so deep. Sodom and Gomorrah would later be destroyed by fire (destruction not covered by the promise of the rainbow). The reason for Sodom and Gomorrah's destruction (their sin) was notably widespread homosexuality!

As much as it touts disobedience to God, the diversity movement has firmly embraced the very symbol of God (the rainbow). The rainbow will eventually be a meaningful and immeasurably painful reminder that God's destruction by water would be a much less painful destruction than by fire.

The deception of sin knows no bounds. My message to homosexuals and other sexual deviants is not one of hate and loathing, but one of information and reason. The irony of the rainbow being diversity's banner is like steak being a cow's favorite meal!

We all sin and we all have to deal with sin daily. But homosexuality and sexual deviance carry as their banner the very symbol of their destruction! God's enemy, Satan, gloats before God over how gullible and blind mankind is!

If I practiced or even just condoned homosexuality, I would not want the rainbow as my flag! I would not want anything associated with God and the Bible as my identifying symbol!

Father in heaven, may Your truth be exposed and may those who have taken the symbol of fiery destruction be enlightened! May the hate and loathing against sexual deviance cease and in its place may there be help and revelation of truth to rescue those who have taken this "mark."
