It's fine to be the wisest man in the world. It's fine to be the richest man in the world.
I suppose it's fine to be the whatever-est man in the world... But, more important than anything is to bring glory to God.
The Queen of Sheba recognized a lot of things about Solomon, but the fact that she recognized God was at the center of it, tells us a great story within a story.
I must reflect then what this says to me. When people see my life, do they just see me, or, do they see AND glorify God. Does honor to the name of the LORD rise above all else?
Father, You know my deceptive and desperately wicked heart - You know how my thoughts are so focused on myself. Please forgive me this sin and help me to exalt You with my life and not me.
