Sin

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. [Romans 6.23]

There is nothing good about sin. Sin brings curses. Sin brings death. loss, and destruction.

There is no situation where sin brings about good.

God hates sin. God hates the wages of sin, but He is obligated to pay them unless the debt is redeemed by another. 

That 'another' is Jesus and faith validates the transaction of redemption. 

Only faith validates the transaction of redemption. As a matter of fact, without faith, the transaction is impossible to validate. Furthermore, without faith then, God is not pleased - without faith, it is impossible to please God.
