A man with leprosy came and knelt in front of Jesus, begging to be healed. “If you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean,” he said. Moved with compassion, Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!” [Mark 1.40-41]
At first glance today, I saw this "I am willing" phrase and was thankful as always that Jesus was and is willing! Yes! Thank God.
But as I considered it further, something else crossed my mind. If I am to live like Jesus in the earth today, then it makes sense that I too should "be willing."
What should I be willing to do? Any and everything that Jesus did!
I need to think and meditate on this!
Father, I want to be willing!
