Dear brothers and sisters, honor those who are your leaders in the Lord’s work. They work hard among you and give you spiritual guidance. Show them great respect and wholehearted love because of their work. And live peacefully with each other. [1 Thessalonians 5.12-13]
One would think the statements above go without saying. However, Paul did make these statements and so, it would seem they were necessary.
Those who lead in the Lord's work deserve our respect and wholehearted love.
I am challenged today to make this more of a a prayer priority.
Father, help me to be faithful in honoring those who have made the commitment to do Your work!
