Obstacles Are God's Way Of Telling Us To Repent

“If righteous people turn away from their righteous behavior and ignore the obstacles I put in their way, they will die. And if you do not warn them, they will die in their sins. None of their righteous acts will be remembered, and I will hold you responsible for their deaths. [Ezekiel 3.20]

The verse above says, if we fail to rightly assess the obstacles in our way, we will die in our sins.

Furthermore, the verse above indicates that if I see others ignoring the obstacles God puts in their way and I fail to tell them, then I am responsible for their deaths.

Of course, we could say this verse was just for Ezekiel and does not apply to us (me) personally. But what if that is not the case?

Father, it is with a sober pause that I consider these words here today. As I consider the nation in which I live down to the neighborhood in which I dwell, I see obstacles...
