A Good Start

Shout with joy to the LORD, all the earth! Worship the LORD with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy. Acknowledge that the LORD is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation. [Psalm 100]

Here is a good start. It is a good start to anything to begin by worshiping God. He is our everything and we belong to Him.

Jesus taught us to begin our prayer with "Our Father in heaven, hallowed by Your Name..." His name is Yahweh and we would do well to acknowledge it! We would do well to praise Him. We would do well to glorify Him in every single thing we do.

Why?

Because He is good and His unfailing and faithful love endures forever to all.

Father, You are good. You are deserving of all praise and glory. You are worthy of all honor. Salvation belongs to You, as do blessing and honor, glory and power, wisdom and strength. You alone are Supreme God - Yahweh of Heaven's Armies - our Righteousness, our Sanctifier, giver of Peace, Present God, our Healer, our Provider, our Shepherd, our Banner, our Forgiver, our Advocate, our Refuge, and our Strength. Yes, You alone deserve our worship and adoration!
