Exodus 25-28
In today's reading are found many details for the construction of the Tabernacle. This was to be an elaborate project with great care given to following the exact pattern God gave Moses.
The thing that stands out most to me today is that we should take notice of the extravagance of the Tabernacle and learn a lesson that our worship of, and devotion to God should be taken seriously. There is simply no room for sloppiness or carelessness when it comes to our relationship with God.
God is a holy God and it is a holy thing to come into His presence - especially as we come with the name of His Son on our lips!
Father, please forgive me for being careless or sloppy in my devotion to You!
