I Understand Jesus

I need someone to mediate between God and me, as a person mediates between friends. [Job 16.21]

There is simply so much confusing information in the book of Job that I dare say one could easily become disoriented and miss the point altogether (I think that is what I have done...). However, the statement above made by Job is worthy of remembering!

It is noteworthy that more than once, Job made this or a very similar statement.

As New Testament believers, we are compelled to remember that Christ is our Advocate. Yes, we have access and authority in God's Kingdom but we must not forget this family privilege was purchased by the blood of Jesus!

Father, thank You for Jesus. I mostly don't get the book of Job, but I understand Jesus!
