Stick With Jesus

Then Agrippa said to Paul, “You may speak in your defense.” So Paul, gesturing with his hand, started his defense:[Acts 26.1]

Paul's defense that followed the statements above was simple and brilliant. He pointed out that he shared the same hope as all the Jewish people with the exception that he accepted Jesus as God's fulfillment of all the prophecies. In so doing, he plainly told about his experience with Jesus. Before that however, Paul noted his zeal against the Way.

So, pretty much, Paul stayed on target in presenting Jesus to his audience.

My take-away from this is the necessity of sticking with Jesus when we are called to account for our faith. There are a lot of things we could probably argue about with unbelievers, but Jesus is the key - the central point - the main character and object of our faith that needs to be focused on.

Father, I want to stick with Jesus. I know there are so many different things that can be argued about, but I also know Jesus changed (and is still changing) my life!
