As for me, may I never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of that cross, my interest in this world has been crucified, and the world’s interest in me has also died. It doesn’t matter whether we have been circumcised or not. What counts is whether we have been transformed into a new creation. May God’s peace and mercy be upon all who live by this principle; they are the new people of God. [Galatians 6.14-16]
Man, this is the good stuff!
The more I have been alert to "Kingdom" topics reading the New Testament, the more I am seeing "Kingdom" topics! And, this passage above is certainly "Kingdom" speak!
When all is said and done, nothing matters except that we have been transformed into a new creation!
The question then looms: Have I been transformed? Have you been transformed?
The entire letter Paul wrote to the church at Galatia is profound.
Father, help us to grasp all that Your Spirit is saying to us through the work of Jesus and the also the writings of Paul and others! Help us to understand that we have been brought into Your Kingdom!
