More Talk?

For the Kingdom of God is not just a lot of talk; it is living by God’s power. [1 Corinthians 4.20]

Well, here we have it - the Kingdom is real and has outward evidence and affect. If not, well then, perhaps we may be involved in 'something' - just not the Kingdom of God.

I keep coming back to Matthew 6.33... If, in fact, we are actively involved in the the Kingdom of God, we WILL see daily needs taken care of. If those needs go unmet, then, if the Bible and what Jesus said are true, we are NOT putting God's Kingdom first, but obviously something else!

The Kingdom of God involves God's power. The two cannot be separated!

Neither we nor the world need more talk...

Father, help us to be about Your Kingdom - Your power - and not about a bunch of talk!
