“I tell you the truth, all sin and blasphemy can be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven. This is a sin with eternal consequences.” He told them this because they were saying, “He’s possessed by an evil spirit.” [Mark 3.28-30]
Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is calling good "evil" and calling evil "good".
Calling sexual promiscuity "good", even though the Holy Spirit speaks clearly through the Bible that it is a sin again God, is blasphemy.
Calling homosexuality "good", even though the Holy Spirit speaks clearly through the Bible that it is a sin again God, is blasphemy.
Calling abortion "good", even though the Holy Spirit speaks clearly through the Bible that taking an innocent life is sin, is blasphemy.
Calling religious diversity "good", even though the Holy Spirit clearly speaks through the Bible that accepting and embracing religions that reject the Holy Bible and the God of the Holy Bible is sin, is blasphemy.
On the other hand, declaring as "evil" those who voice Holy Spirit-led Biblical intolerance to these sins, is blasphemy.
These are just the beginning of the blasphemies found in the world today. Unfortunately, and in opposition to its own Bible-believing Christians, the USA has quite thoroughly adopted these blasphemies. Many other nations of the world have done likewise.
According to Jesus, blasphemy against the work of the Holy Spirit is unforgivable.
Father, help me - help us - to side only with Your Word and therefore Your Holy Spirit in what we call good or evil!
