In today's OYCB reading, both Ezekiel and Jeremiah prophesy in regard to Israel's enemies. This proves to me that although God uses the actions of evil nations, He does not excuse their evil condition! This would furthermore hold true in regard to individuals - that God can and will use wicked individuals to accomplish a desired outcome for His own people.
So much of this idea is foreign to us because we simply have no idea what it is like to be in control of everything! Our thinking is limited to limitations! God's is not!
Father, the fact that You control everything is beyond me. That's what makes You God and me just a man.
