For a person seeking direction in life, surely this passage in Proverbs speaks some direction!
It would seem this 'wisdom' is saying to follow the obvious path (look straight ahead and fix your eyes on what lies before you).
Furthermore, it would seems 'wisdom' is saying to get and stay with a plan (mark out a straight path...). And, 'wisdom' warns against getting sidetracked - certainly guides away from evil.
It all seems so simple today.
Father, I do desire to follow You and Your ways. Yes, I have struggled with direction lately - there has been so much 'noise' distracting me. Help me to mark our a straight path and stay on it!
