Father, I have failed this instruction much more than I have ever followed it. Frankly, I cannot imagine what it would be like to experience joy in the middle of trouble. The thought of it is totally foreign to me. I suppose I currently have as much "opportunity" as I have ever had, but joy is not what I am experiencing. Lord, I believe in You - I believe in Jesus - but where does that joy come from? How do I find this joy James wrote about? I want to go there - I want to stay there...
