These are the instructions for the burnt offering, the grain offering, the sin offering, and the guilt offering, as well as the ordination offering and the peace offering. The Lord gave these instructions to Moses on Mount Sinai when he commanded the Israelites to present their offerings to the Lord in the wilderness of Sinai. [Leviticus 7.37-38]
How many times did Moses go up on Mount Sinai?
Were the instructions for these offerings also inscribed on the tablets of stone?
As I looked back over the past days' readings, I realized Moses was quite the mountain climber! There were in fact, several trips up Mount Sinai and several of them yielded instructions. Interesting.
Father, help me to absorb the actual facts of the Bible. Sometimes it seems all I have retained are the life-lesson stories and not the facts. Help me to have my facts straight!
