He created the horizon when he separated the waters; he set the boundary between day and night. The foundations of heaven tremble; they shudder at his rebuke. By his power the sea grew calm. By his skill he crushed the great sea monster. His Spirit made the heavens beautiful, and his power pierced the gliding serpent. [Job 26.10-13]
Again today, I didn't find any deep revelation from the book of Job. However I will give my observations on the statements above.
It seems Job had some understanding of the event of creation. His "separated the waters" statement sounds very similar to the Genesis account of creation. Likewise the "boundary between day and night" phrase sounds Genesis-like.
What follows next is some discussion of other-than-ordinary creatures. It gives me reason to consider that Job had knowledge of dinosaurs and their demise. I personally hold the opinion that dinosaurs existed concurrently with early man however, unlike man, did not survive the great flood of Noah's time.
Job's references to creation and "monsters" were certainly historical. However, his mention of them would support what I believe is a very early occurrence of Job's journey on earth.
Father, help me as I continue to piece together more details from Job and try to build understanding that will prove useful in my journey on earth.
