It is probably of no great significance spiritually, but, the gold and silver used in constructing the mobile Tabernacle was worth around $64.5 million USD (at today's gold and silver prices).
What's even more intriguing to consider is that this wealth was held by a people just coming out of slavery!
However, it is fair to divvy this wealth among the number of males (600,000) yielding a mere $107.50 per man. So, considering the number of people present, the wealth was almost nominal.
I have no idea what value these numbers carry...
Father, give me a heart to understand what I have pondered today...
