Details Require Effort

The details continue!

Understanding that neither am I a Jew nor do I consider myself part of the old covenant made by God with the Jews, I still consider myself part of this through the redemptive and inclusive work of Jesus Christ.

So, what lessons are there for me to learn from reading about all the details of old covenant sacrifices and protocol?

Perhaps it is about effort.  The details outlined in Exodus require a lot of effort.  A relationship with anyone (let alone God) requires effort.  Whether it is daily sacrifices and protocol or it is a simply phone call or visit - effort is mandatory for true relationship to thrive and grow.
