“I tell you the truth, whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven. [Matthew 18.18]
Now what in the world does that mean? Jesus just finished a little talk about handling offenses and then makes this statement. Is He implying that our decisions here on earth have some heavenly correlation? What does a decision we make here on earth have to do with what goes on in heaven?
Father, I am quite unaware of what Jesus meant in Matthew 18.18. It would seem that You have given some type of authority to Your children...
