From both the OT and NT today, I find encouragement to be persistent with God. Abraham interceded for the righteous in Sodom and got his wish. Jesus said, "Keep on asking..." So, we should keep on asking!
Also in the first part of the NT reading today, Jesus is still teaching about a real relationship with God. Two things that stand out are: "have faith" and "don't judge.'

Father, help me to "get it" today!
