Good Fruit

A tree is identified by its fruit.  If a tree is good, its fruit will be good.  If a tree is bad, its fruit will be bad. [Matthew 12.33]

How much simpler could it be?  And yet... we make it complex!  I believe it really IS simple but in order to save face we need to complicate it.  Do we dare look in the mirror (not to see our reflection but our lives) and objectively define what we see?  Yes, it is all by the grace of God, but is that grace showing?

Father, I genuinely want Your grace to show in my life.  I know that if Your grace is seen then my fruit will indeed be good - not because I am good, but because Your grace has covered me.
