A story of forgiveness that was never told: What about Potipher and his slutty wife? When Joseph became #2 man in all Egypt is it not reasonable to think that Potipher was still there? Is it not reasonable to think that Mrs. Potipher was still around also? And yet, there is no mention that Joseph exacted any revenge, retribution, or even correction to them. Jesus' descriptions of the Kingdom of Heaven are quite revealing. The seed (the Kingdom) is planted throughout the world. But bad seed is planted as well by the enemy. The Kingdom is powerful however and will grow large. The Kingdom affects all it comes into contact with. The Kingdom is a priceless treasure both found and sought for. Nothing else really matters but the Kingdom ...Lesson 2.
Father, I see the need in my life for real forgiveness and real dedication. Help me to reflect on today's lessons and allow Your Holy Spirit to make the necessary changes.
