Character

The prophecies of Zechariah and Revelation are intense! Both speak of times of great wrath from Almighty God. Even for the committed soul, the outlook is bleak in trying to discern his fate through all the prescribed disaster. Wow!

But then the Psalm today (146) seems to bring a balancing perspective to whatever course of events the true believer finds himself in. Throughout history the one defining characteristic of the true believer is worship. That worship in Psalm 146 speaks of the believer's faith in the one overriding characteristic of God - His goodness.

Hmmm...

Father, You are indeed good and Your faithful love certainly endures forever! I desire that You find me in worship in whatever circumstance I am in.
