Imagine that! Hello! Here we are!
Should we not be sick of ourselves? I mean, really, who are we kidding? All our talk, our endless libraries of Christian books, Christian television broadcasts, Christian radio broadcasts, and on and on and on...
Where is the power?
I dare someone to rebuke me... go ahead, "talk" me down! Better yet, why not make a rain cloud stand still over my head?
I will shut up now - I have some power to pray about...
Father, I am ashamed of the wimpy religion I have promoted by mouth. The world sees no more power in my life than the next guy. I fear that as Christians, we have promoted powerlessness ("Well, let God's will be done...") over power. We have literally glorified the fact that junk happens more than miracles. Father, I confess that I have been a lot of talk - and nothing more...
