OT reading: You know... that was a large crowd of people to be wandering around in the wilderness!
NT: In the accounts of Simeon (yesterday) and Anna today, is not the lesson for us today that they had a sense of expectancy regarding the Messiah? And for Anna (today) it seemed she had held her expectancy for many years!
Am I expecting anything? Am I anxiously waiting? For what?
Father, help me to develop the proper sense of expectancy...
