The story of Balaam reveals the love of God for Israel. The backdrop of this story is constant rebellion and complaining by Israel. While Israel is acting like a spoiled child, unbeknown to them the story of Balaam is taking place. Behind the scene, God is fighting for Israel.

Father, help me to see and realize how great Your love is for me... even when I am found in outright rebellion...
